Based in Memorial Park, West Ham, East London RFC is proud to be supporting Rugby World Cup 2015 and is in an ideal location close to the Olympic Stadium.
The club is a five-minute walk away from West Ham Station and 20 minutes from the Olympic Stadium using the Greenway pedestrian route.
West Ham Station is served by three Tube lines (Jubilee, District, Hammersmith & City), a direct bus route to Stratford (route 276) and c2c rail services in and out of Fenchurch Street in the City.
Stratford Station, the closest London Undergound station to the Olympic Stadium, is just one stop along the Jubilee Line and three stops on the Docklands Light Railway, which also offers a direct link to Stratford International Station and London City Airport.
Look no further than East London RFC if you are a player, supporter, business or organised tour manager coming to Rugby World Cup 2015 and want to:
1. Bring a Rugby team or a group of fans and want a friendly match and some celebratory drinks in the clubhouse afterwards.
East London RFC offers clubhouse facilities, three grass pitches available for matches and additional 3G floodlit pitches for training purposes and other sporting activities. The clubhouse is home to East London men’s teams, East London Ninjas women’s team and the Kings Cross Steelers, the world’s first open and inclusive Rugby club.
2. Hire space for hospitality use or car parking facilities for guests. All rates are available on request.
East London RFC offers a function room that comfortably seats up to 120 people with its own bar area, kitchen and catering facilities and TV. There is a separate bar area which can also accommodate up to 70 people with TV for watching matches. The building is fully accessible with disabled toilet facilities. Marquees can also be erected in Memorial Park, subject to activity and agreement with Newham Council.
